We just recently upgrade from Windows 2000 Professional to
Windows XP. One feature we use alot is the Search Feature
on the Start Button. In Win2000 when we need to fine
specific information on a item that were stored in .csv
files in a folder you would just do a search containing
text look in the folder and be able to find the file that
we needed to open to get necessary information. Now with
WinXP we can not do that, and we have all the latest
patches as current as today. In WinXP do a search on A
word or phrase in file it does not find the .csv file at
all. Example looking for the word Apple_Prices in folder
FruitsCurrentPrices, in Win2000 Search would find it in
Oct2002CurrentPrices.csv and Oct2003CurrentPrices.csv,
know in WinXP search finds nothing.
What is it not finding the containing text in .csv files.
