Search Companion Problem

Search Results do not return csv file names that actually do contain the
phrase for which I am searching. I am searching on 7210857915 stored as
General format. Search returns a list of xls and txt file names but not csv
file names. If I enter csv in the box “All or part of the document name:â€,
no file names are returned. If I remove the string for which I am searching
from the box “A word or phrase in the document:â€, I get all the csv files
listed. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Apparently Search does not look inside csv files. Temporarily change
the file type to txt and change it back after finishing the search.

Would be nice if MS would have Search Companion search all file types. I may
not know what file types may contain the text for which I am searching. If I
knew the text was contained in a csv file, I would not be searching for it.
This makes me wonder what other file types Search Companion does not search.
