SearchIndexer, SearchFilter SearchProtocol

I know what "SearchIndexer" is, but what are "SearchFilter &
SearchProtocol"?

That's what I thought too. Maybe some expert will throw in his/her 2 cents,
and we'll know for sure.
 
Doesn't really require an expert to answer that one. As Brink indicated
they're all part of Windows Search, aka indexing.

Searchfilter enables the searching of the content within files, and
SearchProtocol deals with the different variety of stores, such as mapi, CSC
(Client Side Cache) or standard files.
