Search will not work with Frontpage 2002

J

jeff

I installed Server 2003
Installed 2002 Extensions
Installed Index server
Created virtual web (w/ 2002 extensions)
Published from Frontpage 2002 to the above server.
When I go the search page it gives an error
_derived/nortbots.htm
Page not found

Am i supposed to have the Nortbots? Why are they not installed? Is it
really this hard to get search to work.

I also did the re-index and recalculate thing, as well as the edit the
registry thing for all websites and novalue=1.

HELP!

Under IIS MMC for the specific web, did you enable the site to be index, and
do you have Index Server started and have build a Index Catalog for the site
under Index Server MMC?

Yes, I did that, I get
FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web
server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish
this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.

Did you create or publish the web to the server via http://servername or
http://ipaddress from FP?
