Search not Showing Recurring appointments

Hello

I am an IT Technician in a school, one of the staff has come to me with an
Outlook 2003 Issue.

She uses the Calender to record all her Daily meetings, tutorials etc. Most
of these re-occur every week.

However when she uses the search function to, for example look up a
particular pupil only the first occurance shows up.

How can she set it so all the appointments including re-occurances appear in
the search.

Thank you

That's not possible. The search feature can return only the master instance for each recurring appointment.

Hi Christopher,

As Sue said, Outlook does not provide the built-in function to display all
the recurrences. Only the main item is displayed. Think about this
situation: if the appoinment does not have an end date, and is set to
recurr every day or every week, then how does Outlook display all the
recurrences?

But the however, the recurrence pattern is shown as a serch result. You
can use this information to see how does it recurrs.

Hope this helps!
