search for text in file - how to specify file types

Hi

I want to search within a whole load of php files for a string. XP search is
only searching in the .txt files in that folder. The .php files are just
plain text and should be searchable, but it isn't looking.

Is there some way I can make it search them? do I perhaps have to register
the php files in some way?

Using the "A word or phrase in the file" search criterion may not work
