search feature

The search feature in the Windows XP home edition
apparently will not look for specific words in a text
document. I am told that "searching for a word or phrase
in the file" actually amounts to searching for a word or
phrase in the file name or header.

Does the office edition have the capability to search for
an actual word or phrase in the body of a document? Or is
there some other software that can do this. (My Windows
95 program had this feature.) Thanks.

It's free, and it works well.
