Any time I try to use any search engine (e.g. MSN, Yahoo,
Lycos, Hotbot, Google, Ask Jeeves), I get a page that asks
if I'm trying to get to Google.com. It says that my
computer is trying to send me to a website that
is "pretending to be Google". It also tells me to modify
the file "hosts" under C:\Windows to fix the problem.
I've gotten this same message with every search engine
that I've tried, except for MSN. With MSN, I just get the
message "The Page Cannot Be Found" .
If anyone knows why this is happening, I would appreciate
any help.
