search engines

When I try to pull up a search engine like google or ask
jeeves I get a response that there is no web address for
that site. When I pull up yahoo and try to do a search
nothing comes up. I can do no searches. Even if I tpye the
page name like google.com it says that no web address is
for that site. I can do no searches by name or catogory.
What is going on?
