SD cards no longer recognized

I rebuilt system on new hard drive. XP Tablet 2005 Edition with SP1, SP2 &
SP3.

Ever since I rebuilt it, my system does not recognize the SD cards that it
previously recognized. They show up in device mgr under disk drives, but I
ge tthe dreaded yellow flag under "storage". I found a hotfix for it, but
when i tried to run it, SP2 or 3 supposedlyt addressed issue.

Help!!!!

Did you download and install all the latest drivers for your hardware from
the hardweare manufacturer's support web pages?
