HelpPls

In planning for a Disaster Recovery, I would like to keep a couple of extra
SCSi adapter cards in case one fails. In the event that a SCSi adapter
fails, can I simply insert the new one and be on my way or will I need to
reinstall the OS?

Thanks - Sean

If the spare cards are exactly the same as whats in there, then the OS
will never know they were changed.

The replacement SCSI adapter card(s) should be of the same
model as the one it is replacing. But it would be a rare event.
Other SCSI parts will fail first, e.g., HD, ZIP Drive, cdrom,
etc.
