OT: SCSI confusion.

I am adding a second U320 SCSI drive to a workstation, this will be a
storage drive.

As I understand this:

"SCSI ID 7 (the adapter) has the highest priority on the SCSI bus. The
priority of the remaining IDs, in descending order, is 6 to 0, 15 to 8."

The present drive is ID 0, this drive is used to boot the computer.

So, I guess that I should give an ID between 15 and 8 to the storage drive?

I wouldn't worry about it. (unless you start attaching a bunch of
scanners and other SCSI devices)

No, it is more a case of how much traffic you are putting on the bus.
With only the two hard drives, nothing to worry about.
