Scrolling problem

Having re-installed XP when I use my mouse wheel to scroll pages , instead of
normal contollable scrolling, my screen scrolls all wavy as if I was looking
thru a fish tank. Can anyone assist me in returning it to normal? please. S.

In Internet Options, Advanced tab, Browsing category, the last option is
"Use smooth scrolling". It might help to select that option..
