Scrolling in XP

Hi,

The problem is when I scroll down a page in any
application on XP, instead of the usual smooth scrolling
it jumps and the information disappears then instantly
reappears and the screen is acting as though a ripple is
going through it.

If anybody can help with this thanks in advance.

Please forget previous post, the driver that XP picked
for the video card when XP was installed was incorrect so
I installed from the video card's software.

Now its fixed
