Scroll Wheel within Access

Is there a way of disabling scroll wheels within Access as it is
causing me problems. When a user accidentally uses a scroll wheel and
goes to a new/blank record, access creates a new record with automated
references etc (this is because I have some VB which needs to run on
entering a record/form)..Thanks
