Scroll Wheel Not Working

Does anyone know why the scroll wheel on my microsoft wireless laser mouse
doesnt work??? I have installed the mouse on my vista laptop and it all
works fine apart from the scroll wheel, it just wont do anything at all!!!!
Its driving me mad, does anyone know how to fix it???

Have you installed the Microsoft Vista drivers (dunno if the CD comes with
them or not - I'd download them from Microsoft in order to get the latest
version)?

If this doesn't work, try another mouse to see if it's scroll wheel works -
could be that the scroll wheel is busted.
