Scroll bar jogs up and down?

I cannot for the life of me get my scroll bar to stop moving? This is
especially annoying when reading web pages or selecting files. Is it possible
that some of my directories are to big? Is this a virus? Would the best thing
to do would be to re-install? This problem is driving me mad any helps much
recommend....

My first guess would be a corrupt Mouse driver.
Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the Mouse device, Action
menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the device drivers again
automatically.

Thanks for the help but re-installing the mouse driver had little effect?
Whats the yes button? Shall i buy a new mouse? Im gonna check Dell website
for driver there 1st.

You are using the web interface, and the 'is this post helpful" and "yes"
button are at the bottom of the post reading window.
It's not likely a new driver is going to help. These drivers cover almost
every mouse. You might have a damaged/dirty mouse.

I had that problem with a wireless mouse after a while and I took the
easy way out and used a wired mouse. That solved the problem.
