script errors clicking help hotlinks with SP4

Ever since I installed SP4 on my win2k machines, Help
icons and hotlinks have gone away. There are x's where
the icons should be, and when I click on a hotlink, I get
a message "An Error Has Occurred in the Script on This
Page" similar to that described in KB article 823451 which
describes an issue when clicking a movie in Microsoft
Greetings help. I am not familiar with MS Greetings, and
this occurs in all help on my machines.

Is this a similar problem that would be fixed with IE6
SP1? How do I tell if I have SP1? I have IE6, but
Help/About says nothing about SP1. Is it buried in some
of the "sub-version" data?

Any advice would be appreciated,

Rob

Start with unregistering and registering hhctrl.ocx in a command
prompt (cmd.exe) or from Start/Run:

regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\hhctrl.ocx

It's listed in the "Update versions:" string in the Help/About, if
you see SP1 there, you have SP1 installed.
