How can you get a screen shot of äpplications?"that don't allow youto select
paste info(eg device manager)?

You can press the Print Screen button and then open MSPaint and paste
the image in there. Alt-Print Screen will take a screenshot of just the
active window.

Workaround: System Information will display hardware info and has some
copy/paste and "save to file" options that are not available in Device
Manager.
