screensaver turn on

The old time computers, you should move your mouse to the left corner of the
screen and the screensaver would turn on. Is there a way to do that now? I
can't seem to find it.

No.

The way to test screensavers in XP:

Right click on a free area of the desktop, select properties,
screensaver. Click Preview.

Office XP toolbar can have a shortcut to turn the
screensaver ON if it is active in the display properties.
Steve Gibson's WIZMO program www.grc.com has a function
called "blank" that runs the screensaver. Many neat
functions in WIZMO.

Or simply create a shortcut to the .scr file that runs the saver.
Double click it (single click it if you put it in your Quick Launch)
Or set a shortcut key to it.
