Screensaver Stuck

When starting my computer, once the username is clicked the screensaver comes
up and nothing else. No icons appear and I can't get anything to appear.
It's seems as the actually hard drive is non responsive. Help, what do I
need to do or where do I need to start?

It's seems as the actually hard drive is non responsive. Help, what do I
need to do or where do I need to start?

Right click on your Desktop, select Properties. On the Display properties
click on Desktop tab then click Customize button.
On the Customize window click on Web Tab, there make sure nothing checked
and click [OK].

Another way is right click on the Desktop then select Arrange icons By >
Unselect Lock Web Items on Desktop and Hit F5 on your Keyboard, does it
help?.

make sure your machine is malware/virus free by scanning full scan with an
up2date security software.
