screensaver in windows2000 locks-up the computer.

I am running windows2000 professional and am having
problems with the screensaver. The computer will
freeze/lock up when the screensaver runs. Sometimes
right away, and other times after 10+ minutes. I made
sure the "On, resume password protect" box is NOT checked
in the display properties. Any suggestions?

Which screensaver? :-)

My first guess would be your video card driver. What kind
of video card do you have? Do you have the latest driver
for it?

Don't run screensavers. Just run the screenblanker (Default) screensaver.
