I a running a single Windows XP Pro machine connected directly to the
internet (no domain or intranet connection). I have several users accounts
including one administrator account that is password protected. Fast user
switching is enabled. My problem occurs when I log onto the administrator
account, then log onto to another account, and after a period of time log
back into the administrator account. After entering my password at the
Welcome screen, the screensaver for the administrator account is immediately
displayed. If I move the mouse or press a button, the Welcome screen is
displayed again. If I reenter my password, I then successfully logon to the
administrator account. So I have to enter my password twice to logon. This
problem only started after upgrading to SP2. The screensaver is one that
came with windows (no third party software). I have also run antivirus and
spyware removal tools.
