My screen split overnight. The top third of the window is on the bottom of
the screen and the bottom 2/3 is on top. Any suggestions how to get this back
to normal?
Thanks in advance.

You seem to be describing a type of frozen vertical frame scroll?
You supply little detail?
So I'll try a few guesses.........
Your electrical supply has changed cycle from 60khz to 100khz?
You are PAL/Secam and your monitor is being incorrectly identified
as Japanese NTSC standard?
Your monitor has controls of which the settings have been changed?
Your graphics card drivers are corrupt, or requires updated drivers?
Your graphics card/adapter is on point of total failure?
Your monitor is knackered?
Or you are connected via analog and are feeding it a signal it is not
designed to accept?
None of the above?
