Screen size.

Recently my Toshiba Satellite froze up, after restarting
it all the display screens are in the large font
appearence and I cannot figure out how to return it to
the standard font and icon size. I've tried everything
on the control panel and startup menu, if you know
something I don't please let mne know. Thanks.

Try this:

Right click the Desktop, then select Properties>Settings>Advanced - General tab - make sure that the Display drop down menu is set to 'Normal Size (96 DPI)'.

Did you try screen resolution in display settings?
