Screen// Shrinking both sides of the Screen

Hi All:
It's very strange,... but just recently, both sides of
the screen, 'vertical side' of the screen shrinking,
about a half inch on the left and one inch on the right.
Thus, my screen became about 15 and a half inches
(actual), instead the 17 inches that is the original
screen size.

I attempted to maximize the screen by using 'max' button
on the right top corner of the screen in my hopes that
might be 'cure.' However, still the same size/shrinking
size,... not expanding the screen in full, 17 inches.

Any suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
Sorry, .... I mean, ... not 'Vertical Side' of the
Screen.

'Horizontal side' of the Screen started shrinking since
last weekend.

I think you really mean the verticle. Check your monitor for buttons. The
width and height are set with those buttons.

Sounds like "death of a monitor" to me. Usually when the
monitor starts going short or skinny it means the monitor
is fading out.
