Screen Refresh - Terminal server Client

I have a customer running Windows 2000 and uses terminal
Services to access an application on the server with an
SQL database behind it.
During one part of the process, a matrix calculation
takes place and the screen becomes static with only an
update on the status line indicating the number of
records processed.
When I test this on my Laptop running WIN2000 it works
fine but on this customers PC the status line does not
update.
He has 256 Mb memory installed and a 64Mb Intel(R)
Extreme Graphics Controller.
I had him check on the menory status and he is not
swapping to disk.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried giving the customer a different version of
the RDP terminal services client?
