Running Citrix ICA v8 on 2003 Terminal Server

Hi,

I'm running the Citrix ICA v8 client on a 2003 Terminal Server - the
client is used to connect to a published app at another location
(connected via ATM). When I am on the LAN of the 2003 Terminal Server
and run the ICA client, the screens are very responsive and quick. I
have 2 other remote sites that use this 2003 Terminal Server and the
published app - the only problem is that the screen refresh is
terrible, and I've got all of the caching set on the ICA client.

Another interesting thing about this is if I run the full ICA client
from the remote site (bypass the 2003 Terminal Server) it is very
responsive. Any ideas as to what might be causing the 2003 Terminal
Server not to draw the screen correctly in the ICA client?

Thanks,
Mike

Are you using the Program Neighborhood, Program Neighborhood Agent or Web
Client (NFuse)? What do yoou mean by "bypass the 2003 Terminal Server"?

Do you have the same problem with an RDP Client?

What display settings are you using?

The biggest problems with remote connections are low bandwidth & high
latency. If you have a high speed connection that is highly latent, the
performance will be lack lustre. Speedscreen & Local Text Echo help.
