screen problem

I have hp pav dv 1000 laptop,for the last few weeks i noticed the thelower
partofthe screen in black but when i press on it with my finger it will work
or when I move it backward it will work ! its driving me crazy ,any idia

Sounds as if some part of the electronics in your laptop lid have come
unsoldered inside the cover. When you move the lid, it re-attaches
itself for a bit. When you move it again it breaks the connection. You
need to have a professional look at it and make recommendations.
