Screen goes black

My screen goes blank for a few seconds and then comes back on again. Could
this be a video problem?

Just checked, everything is set to "NEVER" turn off. But I do use the
"Standby" option manually.

Right, mine is set to Never on most things but I did notice that there was a
separate setting for the monitor and that is set differently. My screen
goes black before the time that the screensaver comes on so that's what made
me say about it. Haven't had the laptop long so haven't messed around with
any of the settings in the different Power Save modes yet, but I will!!
