screen freezing

I have reformatted my computer about 3 times, and it
keeps freezing in the middle of my working on it. I am
only using 25% memory, and have scanned for viruses etc.
I am connected to a network, but I seem to be the only
person with this problem. I come back and my screensaver
is frozen on the screen and moving the mouse doesn't get
back to the screen. HELP!!!
 
My screen and mouse is doing exactly like melanie's. What is wrong and what do I need to do?
