Screen capture stopped working

Hi ppl

Screen capture (prt-scr and alt prt-scr) doesn't seem to work any more.
What do I need to check to get it working again?

Have you changed keyboards lately - for example my keyboard requires the F-Lock to be
engaged before it works.

and it was quite adequate for basic needs.
