Hi:

Is there any way to cut and paste windows folder items as text. I need to
make physical lists of file name, they are lengthy and I don't want to type
them out. Also, I need to reformat them for the documents I am working on.

I know how to CTRL Prt Scr to get the visual, but how to capture the text?

Thanks.

Ramesh, you have helped me once before, and thank you again. However, when I
perform the listed function, the directory automaticlaly prints to my
printer. I need to save the file and manipulate the contents. Do I use the
manual process through the command prompt for this?

Thank you again.

Hi,

You may customize printdir.bat to suit your needs [To print to file, remove the /p parameter]
