Screen capture of tooltips

Anyone know of a freeware Windows XP screen capture utility that
captures tooltips and mouse cursors with the images?

Irfanview can do this also.

Make sure you check the "include mouse cursor" box. I've found that
using the timed capture works best because the hot-key causes the
tooltips to vanish with most programs.

Just tried irfanview and PrinkKey 2000 and neither one captures
tooltips. There are several shareware packages I've test that do so I
know this is possible. So the question remains, is there a freeware
screen capture program that captures tooltips?

Try Irfanview again. I just tested it and it captured tooltips from
three different programs.

There is an example at

Make sure you are using "Automatic: timer delay X seconds" and have
"include mouse cursor" checked. Any other setting will NOT work.

Also, I found that you should put your mouse over the tooltip spot just
before it's going to capture. On two of the programs I tested, the tip
automatically vanished after 3 seconds so it was already gone by the
time Irfanview took the shot if I was on it too quickly.

Dang, just doesn't work for me. It captures the mouse cursor, but not
the tooltip.

I've used Gadwin and like it a lot. It captures tooltips in some
programs and not others.
