Scheduling non-sequential recurring meetings

How do you schedule non-sequential recurring meetings?

If they don't follow a pattern, clearly they're not recurring. ONe way to
handle this is to create an Excel spreadsheet containing the events and then
importing that sheet.

I beg to differ. Just because a series of meetings do not fall into a neat
little pattern does not mean they are not recurring. Many times we start out
with a pattern but as we go through the calendar for the year and we find
obstacles and must accomodate.

In GroupWise you were able to just click on the dates from a year calendar
view and if needed you had the option to schedule in a pattern.

I find this a total time waster for people who do heavy scheduling.

Beg all you wish. That doesn't mean you're correct *within the context of
Outlook*.

I am not looking to be "correct" just frustrated with the primative offerings
of a so called cutting edge product. For people who do heavy scheduling of
meetings that occur over and over again outside of a perfect pattern, this is
a simply a nightmare.
