Hi!
I am running hyperterminal application all the time to capture data
from my COM port. I create log files using 'capture text' function
available in hyperterminal. I want to schedule this 'capture text' so
that I do not need to do it manually all the time. Please help. Please
show if any other solutions possible.

Regards,
Yogi.

Aren't there any settings in the program on what logs to create - like
creating a log file using time/date as filename?

What about the web site for the program concerned?

Hi,
I seem to have the same problem. I need to open a hyperterminal. Get it to
TRANSFER/CAPTURE into a file with a name that reflects today's date such as
data july5. The next day, I TRANSFER/STOP, and then TRANSFER/CAPTURE with the
new date. I would like to schedule the process of opening a hyperterminal
session, naming it and closing it to happen automatically. Any suggection
would be appreciated.
