Appreciate any help of advise on the following:

I am using a scheduler called z-cron to start safari web browser which has
its start up ie its home page connecting via port to another running
application to collect data from this application ( I can only collect the
applications data using web client ie cannot export it ...).

This captured text data now in the web browser is then cut and paste into
xcel sheet manually ( appending to the bottom of an open sheet )

Appreciate advise on how to I can use xcel to do the cut and paste
automatically for me.

Thanks for any help

EXCEL 2007

1. Open an EXCEL file (the one I used was the following):-

C:\excel\import_data_using_a_web_query.xlsx

2. Data tab.

Get External Data group.

Click:-

From Web

The New Web Query window should open.

3.

In the:-

Address:

- field type in the address that you want to import; for example:-

http://webfund6.financialexpress.net/clients/hbos/Ourfunds.aspx

Click:-

Go

(At this point you can filter the data that you import by clicking on
the black arrows, on a yellow background, on the left hand side).

Click:-

Import

The Import Data window should now open.

4. Click in cell A1 (for example) then click:-

OK

The data will now be imported into the Workbook.
