Scheduled task running invisible. May I prevent this?

I have some scheduled backup tasks which must run with administrator
privileges, but I'd like to launch them manually when working as limited
user. Problem: when I do that, the task run invisibly, preventing me of
seeing what's going on. As administrator, it is ok to launch the scheduled
task, but I don't want to logon as admin in order to do this. Any help?

Thanks in advance and forgive my poor English.

When you specify the account under which a task executes, that is the
account used. There doesn't need to be a desktop to run the task under
that account. Since there is no desktop, there are no windows shown
opening on a desktop that isn't there. You will need to have one copy
of the task that is scheduled to run under the other account and then
another copy that runs under your account (but not enabled to run at a
scheduled time). However, if the task needed an admin-level account to
run, why would it run under your account when manually started? If
yours is an admin-level account, why are you running the tasks under a
different account?

I need to backup files in several user profiles. So it needs an admin or a
backup operator. I need to proceed my working inside my own profile, which
*must* be a limited profile. Even so, I need to see how the job is going on
and possibly interact with it. I could use a "Run as" with ntbackup.exe, but
it is error prone, while a scheduled task has every detail already set up.
And I need to run *several* backup tasks daily.

If you log off your limited account and log onto the admin account under
which the task is running, do you see a window for the task over there?
Since you are using Windows XP, you could just fast user switching to
flip between them.

I've tried that, but it doesn't work. The running task remains invisible,
unless it is started from admin profile. But I've just thought of a
workaround: instead of scheduled tasks, which I will not really schedule
anyway, since I start them manually, I will create shortcuts with 'runas'
using the same command line shown in the "scheduled" tasks. If it works, I
will tell you.

Until then, best regards (unless you have a better idea, which I would
really appreciate).
