Scheduled task but no password

On my XP box, I'm the only user. So I gave my log in ID no password.

But when I set up a scheduled task, in the password prompt, I put nothing,
and that generated an error (0x80070005: Access is denied).

So is it possible to use scheduled tasks with null as the password? Or do I
have to go through the bother of setting myself a password, which would be
required each time I use the system!?
