Scheduled Scans with no user logged in

I am unable to successfully execute a scheduled scan
unless a user is logged into the computer at the time of
the scheduled scan.

Is there a way to execute a scheduled scan on a computer
with no user logged in?

The beta1 product requires an administrator logged in for most
functionality.
