scanning to winFaxPro 8 interupted by Mictosoft fax wizard

When I try to scan an image and direct the image to winFax
Pro 8 that is an option in the dropdown box (HP scanjet
2200c) and when I go to the printer to find WinFax Pro it
no longer is there The Wizard seems to over ride the other
program! How do I get rid of the MSN Fax application?

Please explain the scenario more precisely. Are you saying
instead of WinFax Pro printer, MS Fax printer appears in
the Printers folder? If so, you may try disabling MS Fax.

Type services.msc in command window [cmd] and right click
on Fax service. Choose Properties and change the startup
type to "Disabled". Finally stop the fax service by
clicking on the stop button.

In Win2000, it is not possible to uninstall Fax service.
