Scanner Epson perfection 1200U USB with Win98SE

This scanner has worked very well for years . I open it with Adobe
photoshop 5.0.
For the first time, after asking importation " TWAIN 32", this
window
opens : " Impossible opening TWAIN. Be sure that subdirectory TWAIN
contains an avalable file for your scanner" . I went to this place and
I saw
:C: /windows/twain/calibrat/ screen.cal (1 ko), (there is alsoTwain
32).
- Is it normal that the scanner does not appear in "system properties
"
whith Win98SE ?
- I do not succeed in reinstalling Epson Twain Driver, nor
uninstalling the
actual installation.
- The scanner was regognized by another computer.
1-Would someone have an idea about it ?
2- Someone who would use this scanner on Win98 could check which files
are
in " C: /Windows/ twain "
Thank you very much for the help, because I have urgent need of my
scanner.

Hi...

If there's nothing in your twain32 directory you can't uninstall it,
because there's nothing installed. There should be many files,
and at least one sub-directory.

Remember that to install the software the scanner _must_ be
turned off, and the usb cable disconnected.

Then go ahead and install it. Make sure that you have usb
support enabled in windows.

Reboot, connect and turn on the scanner and hopefully all will
be well.

Take care.
