scaner canon lide 70

i have instaled the drivers for vista .
but it will not let me select as the twain sorce the box is blued out.
i use this on my lappy ok
any idears

Are you running on 32 bit or 64 bit Vista?

Did you install the ScanGear Toolbox?

From which application are you trying to scan?

yes i downloaded drivers and scan gear off canons site>
it shows in device manager and i can test it from control panel its say
workin .
cant select it as a sorce any where .
ps its a 32 bit viats
