Scandisk not in win2k??

Why can I not find scandisk in win 2k? I can only find
defrag under system tools. Harry
 
Because Win 2k does not use scandisk it uses chkdsk. You have to enable it
to run and then it will run on the next reboot.
It will ONLY run during reboot before the OS loads.

You can get similar functionality by opening Windows Explorer, right
(secondary) click on a drive, choose Properties, click on the Tools tab, and
click the Check Now button. You may have to restart for the check to run.
