Scandisk at startup

Every time at startrup my WinXP runs Scandisk & promts me to check one of my logical disks for errors. I shutdown WinXP propertly & Scandisk don't find any errors or bad blocks on that disk. When I run "chkdsk /logical drive /F" under WinXp results are the same. But still, at startup system runs Scandisk again. Could this be somehow connected with some key values in the registry?

Check your Start Up Menu, see if it's listed there,
remove it.

Go here to this site and search to see if there is a fix
if you need one, you'll find Kelly's Korner loaded with
XP tips and tweaks.
