SBS Server Windows 2000 (Looks like someone tried to rename domain)

It appears that this domain was renamed from xxx to
xxx.com.

Here are my symthoms:

Event ID 5513 on the Server. When Win2k clients logon on,
they give the following text:

The computer RYAN tried to connect to the server \\SERVER1
using the trust relationship established by the XXX
domain. However, the computer lost the correct security
identifier (SID) when the domain was reconfigured.
Reestablish the trust relationship.

Also, in the Administrators group of the local Win2k pro
domain members, the SID of the domain admin group exists,
but not the name. There are lots of security related
quirks. Is this fixable?

BTW, xxx is not the name, my client just doesn't want it
broadcasted.

Thanks

Jason

It appears that the domain has been recreated. At this point all you can do
rejoin the domain on the workstations
