reestablish trust relationship for windows 2000 domain controller

I had to reinstall a domain controller while another 2k
advanced server was offline.

Now this domain controller can not log into the domain and
the new domain controller lists this error:

"The computer NNN1 tried to connect to the server \\NNN2
using the trust relationship established by the ABC
domain. However, the computer lost the correct security
identifier (SID) when the domain was reconfigured.
Reestablish the trust relationship."

Does anybody know how to reestablish the trust
relationship without a complete reinstall?
