Hello, i have a exsiting w2k advanced server running AD DC
& just tried to add a SBS to the domain as a Addition DC
through dcpromo it stopped at the end & said that SBS does
not have this option does this mean that sbs cant be a
Second DC on a AD domain

SBS likes to be the first DC installed in a forest, but not to fret... there
is a way around it :).

Add the new machine as an additional Domain Controller in your Domain, but
the trick is to move all the FSMO's (flexible single master operations) over
to the DC that will become the SBS server (5 FSMO's in total (schema master,
domain-naming master, PDC emulator, RID master and infrastructure master)).
This basically makes it the forest root DC. Now you can do an inplace
upgrade to SBS.

At least this worked for me, hope it works for you :)
