Yea, 9/10 Times when I log off my Account or shut down my
computer. Windows Idles at "Saving your settings" for
approx. 70 sec. I dont know why it does this I dont have
Much space taken up on my hard drive but it used to not do
this..but if anyone has any idea why it does this or how
to fix it, that would be of great help!

goto Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs > Change/Remove Programs and see if
Q329170 is listed as an update if it is remove it.

plus

start > run > gpedit.msc > Computer Configuration> Administrative Template
System > Logon > Maximum retries to unload and update user profile ... set
enabled and to say 5 ... default if not configured is 60!!

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;814770
