Saving Windows Size

This is terrible but I cannot find anywhere on the web the hot-key
combination to use to save the window size in Windows Explorer/Internet
Explorer. I've tried CTRL and Shift but they didn't work. You would think
that Help would have this information or even the Microsoft site but I
haven't found it so far. Why are such simple things so hard in the Microsoft
world?

Thanks.

I don't think even Windows users find opening/closing programs difficult ;-)

See other post for solution.

Hi Again Robear,
I don't think even Windows users find opening/closing programs difficult ;-)
I agree but opening and closing a window is not my problem. Once the window
is opened, I resize and position it. Now I close Windows and/or Internet
Explorer. When I open it again, it is NOT in the position or size I had it
when closing the app. It goes back to a default position and size. There is a
hot-key combination that you can use to save the window size and position
upon closing the app. I just forget that hot-key combination and searching
the web has not found it yet.

I am very surprised that all the effort Microsoft programmers put into
making an app easier to use through hot-keys isn't thoroughly documented on
their web site somewhere for every Microsoft product. The Home page of each
product should have a link dirrectly to a document showing the function of
ALL hot-keys that program has. Users constantly scream about "make the
product easier to use". Hot-keys do just that. Why is it so difficult to find
out what hot-keys are avaiable for a program?
